Good Times

Welcome back crafters. Today I'm showcasing a card we received in the mail. Happy mail!!!! We were away in Vermont visiting Scott's parents for Father's Day weekend. While up there I brought a few of my newest products by request of Lynn (my mother-in-law and downline). She wanted to test out the embossing paste. I couldn't blame her because as soon as I could order it I was excited to use it myself.

So we colored the paste with a drop of Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler to get the "brick" color. When we left it was still drying and I really wanted to see what she was going to create with it. I was expecting a photo but never thought I would have received it in the mail as a thank you note. Happy Surprises.

I think the embossing paste was easy to use. After watching Lynn try it and now adding this to her wish list for her next order. I'm not sure she figured it was going to be this simple to color and spread onto the card. I like how the bricks are not completely filled in and all the texture it provides as being a background.

Lynn was also playing with the Adirondack chairs and coming up with different ways to use it to create other items. I remember seeing a fence in process. So to my surprise she created a fire pit. It reminded me of Saturday evening when we all sat around the bonfire in the Adirondack chairs.

Let's have a seat around the bonfire.

For the Newlyweds

Welcome back stampers. As of tomorrow summer will begin and that doesn't always mean hot weather, swimming, vacationing, beach going and burgers and dog dinners, etc. It could also be wedding season! I've used a birthday stamp set to create a card for some newlyweds. If you have any upcoming weddings this would be a quickish type card for you to recreate. You can even personalize it with the colors from the invitation to make it more memorable for the new couple.

Spritzing the card stock with water before running it through the dynamic embossing folders makes a more defined impression.

Do you see the cake stand? Doesn't it look like decorative glass? I cut it out from Vellum card stock. I also used Vellum to stamp the sentiment but not to deter the from the wedding cake.

Creative Color Combination

I love purple and yellow together.

Tiny Little Fire

Welcome back friends. First I'd like to wish all the fathers out there a Happy Father's Day! If any of them are having birthdays too then I've got a card for them today. Let's start singing the Happy Birthday song, but we will have to sing quicker because we don't want to melt the candle too low.

Get the fire extinguisherr out for the tiny fire.

Tranquil Flowers

Welcome back crafters. I'm making more sympathy cards to send to friends, family and co-workers. I hope the recipients find solace and reminice about all the memories that make their hearts smile and only bring them tears of joy.

A closer look to show you that I have stamped the flower image in the background on the Soft Sky piece. A pearl is used in the center of each flower of the main focal point.

Flowers to comfort you during this difficult time.

Your Day

Welcome back stampers. Masculine cards are strenuous for most crafters but I enjoy the challenge. It all started when I saw the Naturally Eclectic DSP.  The various blue and green shades were perfect to use for a male.  I chose the pattern that matched the Sweetheart Textured Impreressions Embossing Folder.

By a happy accident I learned the Balloon Honeycomb embellishment fits on top of the small balloon from the Balloon Bouquet punch with small border.

Challenge

What Will You Stamp (#WWYS120) is one of my go to challenge blogs. Though it's been a while since I've played along I was excited to participate this week.

Got to enjoy the anniversary of your birth!
