Mystery Blog Hop

Are you ready for another SSINK blog hop?

I hope so because this one is a mystery!

No, not in a Scooby Doo kind of way. ;)

As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog!

We are always excited to hear from our followers!

You should have left stop number 8 on the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Blog Hop:

If so, you are in the right spot.

Wasn't Kim's card cute?
Did you leave her some blog love to let her know?

If a link doesn't work or you get off track, you will find the full blog lineup below.

We all were given another team members name to send three random Stampin' Up! products that must be used on a project. Insert an emoticon of us shaking in our boots of not knowing what was being sent our way and that we needed to create something worth showing off to the world.

My supplies were sent from Heidi from Stuck on Stampin'
(psst - she is the last one on the blog hop)

I loved the items she sent and how funny she is sending 2 reindeer in the event of an oops.

Thankfully she didn't send me 8 other wise I would have had to build a sled and one jolly guy to join them. ;)

Guess what no oops here. I have another reindeer to use! (insert happy dance)

The supplies are as follows;

Reindeer image is from Santa's Gifts stamp set (pg 68 from the 2015 - 2016 Annual Catalog)
a piece of the Real Red 1/8" Striped Ribbon (pg 32 from the 2015 - 2016 Holiday Catalog)
one of each color of the smallest Home for Christmas Enamel Dots (pg 9 from the 2015 - 2016 Holiday Catalog)

I'm thinking with the supplies given, the card should be related to the holiday.

So I thought and then decided to make a thank you card.

You really cannot go wrong with having too many thank you cards.

There is always a need to thank someone.

Even Heidi!

Thank you for my mystery supplies. They were truly a blast to create something cute and fun!

You just never know, you could get this one in return. ;)

Onto my story of how I created my card for today!

Red striped ribbon was my main focus.

How was I going to use it?

Was I going to tie a bow, just have it lay across the card or (LIGHT BLUB!) have it be Rudolph's scarf.

Yes, it needed to be his scarf! (insert another happy dance)

The enamel red dot was obviously going to be his nose.

Now onto how I was going to color Rudolph.

Here comes the aqua painter because I didn't want him to have too much coloring to take away from his scarf or nose and I was concerned with seeing the marker brushstrokes.

Ok so after coloring him, I was asking myself do I cut him out in a framelit shape or a shaped punch or do I fussy cut him.

You can clearly see what won but that was all due to the scarf being the main purpose.

You cannot wrap a scarf around Rudolph if you have 2" of card stock in the way.

Just sayin'
I was about to try it.

Here is a closer view of his big red enamel dot nose and the red striped scarf.

Yes those antlers were a pain to cut but I took my time not to remove them off his head.

I heat embossed the sentiment onto a cute little banner with Gold embossing powder.

Used the bone folder to give it a bit of a wave.

I used the layout from Global Design Project (#GDP010).
Thank you for stopping by today.

I invite you back tomorrow to see what more I am sharing.

Don't forget to keep scrolling for the next blog to hop to.

We need to see what Diana created from Stampin' with Diana!

I bet it's something cute!
