Ever have a color combination stuck in your head and you just need to try it out? Well I was inspired to make it happen and I Love, Love, LOVE how it turned out! I wanted to use the new stamp set Birthday Blooms and that big large flower was yelling watercolor me! (can't you hear it? I mean look at it.)
Pink Pirouette 4 ¼” x 11” Scored at 5 ½”
Night of Navy 4” x 5 ¼” embossed with Modern Mosaic folder
Pretty Petals DSP ¾” X 4 ¼”
Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper ½” x 4”
Fancy Gold Designer Vellum (hearts) 3/8” x ¾”
I have water colored (I also used my Stampin' Write markers for some added dark dimension), fussy cut and popped up the flowers on top of the gold heart doily. Do you see the Gold Wink of Stella® glitter pen on the stamens? Yup it’s there. I choose to have a few different banner textures under the doily and flowers. From bottom to top, the Mint Macaron leaves is from Pretty Petals paper stack, next is Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and lastly I cut down a strip of the Gold Fancy Foil Deigner Vellum showcasing a few hearts (although a couple are hidden but they are on there, trust me).
Oh this font typeface is so cute and adding gold bow paper clip just makes it extra special for this card to be sent to a dear friend.
I played along with Just Add Ink (#JAI294).
