Welcome to the "Blogging Friends Blog Hop".
Who are the "Blogging Friends"? We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who have never met before. Well, actually, we still haven't met yet (in person)... But through our common bond of Stampin' Up! and a shared love of paper crafting, we have created a fun new blog hop. Please join us on the 1st of every month to see what wonderful things we have created.
Each month we'll have a different theme: this month it's creating items from the Holiday Catalog
Wow it's October already! Gees that was really quick. Do you know what day today is? Besides Saturday, October 1. It's World Card Making Day (WCMD). So happy WCMD to you! Do you plan on going to any WCMD events or do you plan to craft today?
I am sharing an ABC card today. This means a Basic style, a more Casual version and lastly an Avid variation of the same holiday card. By using the same basic supplies, any stamper can use this on any paper crafting project.
You will notice I added the Gold Foil Scallop Square, pearls and colored the sentiment in Soft Suede, Real Red and Garden Green.
I have added Vellum, heat embossed in Gold and the final touch of Mint Macaron bow.
In case you've never 'done' a blog hop before, its really easy! At the bottom of this post, you'll see another image similar to the one above, and when you click on it, you'll be taken directly to the next blog in the hop. Keep clicking on that image at the bottom of each blog post, and you'll hop through all the participating blogs, back to where you started - and you'll see all the amazing projects and maybe inspire you too! If you'd prefer to hop about at your leisure, you can click on the individual links for each blog. Happy Hopping!
We'd love if you would leave us some comments (aka - Blog Love) to let us know what you think.
Thanks for stopping by today.
October 1 through 31 , you can buy three packages of Designer Series Paper and get one free! That’s great news since everyone can use more Designer Series Paper. DSP is not just for cards You can use the DSP for making matching envelopes (use the envelope punch board) for those cards. This sale includes Designer Series Paper from both the annual catalog and the recently released holiday catalog (not including Specialty Designer Series Paper or Designer Series Paper Stacks).
Do you remember the last time you received a card in the mail? In a sea of junk mail and bills, a card is a simple thing that really stands out to the person who receives it. Sending a card is a small gesture that shows just how much you care about that special someone in your life. With World Card Making Day today, celebrate by making and sending a handmade card to someone who could use a little recognition, love, or just a boost (which is anyone, really!). In celebration of World Card Making Day, from October 1-5, Stampin' Up! is discounting up to 25% on cardmaking essentials that can be used to share your love all year long! I'm really excited about the Fast Fuse and Designer Tin of Cards Project Kit.
