Welcome back friends! Today I'm using the sketch from Global Design Project (#GDP058). I was inspired by a photo in a Facebook ad that came through my news feed. Random but you'll see why. I've attached the photo below. First let's see my card.
I like using Vellum card stock as a layer. The semitransparency softness doesn't take away from the Serene Scenery DSP. Pearls were added for a bit of elegance. I have used the Bow Builder Punch to cut my banner edges on my sentiment piece. I explain how in a previous post. CLICK HERE to learn a new technique.
Global Design Project is one of my go to challenge blogs. I was excited to see this week was a sketch challenge. Phew. I already had an idea of the colors I wanted to use.
Facebook is great for connecting with friends and family around the globe. I was scrolling my news feed like I generally do and came across an ad for a local furniture store. I would normally keep scrolling but the table pattern and colors caught my attention.
Creative Color Combination
You will see many shade variations of these colors throughout this time of year. The falling leaves, pumpkins, gourds and dry cornstalks are a few items that come to mind. This combo is a mixture of rich, bright, soft and neutral colors.
