Sprinkles

Sprinkles

Welcome back friends. I am playing along with Just Add Ink's color challenge. I was excited to think of ice cream when I saw that Old Olive was one of the colors to use. My favorite ice cream (generally being green) is Mint Chocolate Chip. So that was what I used as my inspiration for this next card.

Birthday ice cream.jpg

I heat embossed with white on a Basic Gray cut out from the Project Life Cards & Labels framelits. The sentiment reads: I hope your birthday is sprinkled with everything great

I chose to make a bowl of ice cream with three generous scoops. Because one scoop is for children under the age of 10 (aka a tease) and two scoops will just begin to have you taste the flavor (aka a bigger tease). Three scoops is just the perfect amount to fill you up and have the flavor long enough to remind your taste buds what your favorite ice cream is. You'll see I added white sprinkles on each scoop. Oh and how about that silver spoon. I took my stylus from my Simply Scored board to make an indentation. Just like a real spoon.

Challenge

Just Add Ink (#JAI341) is one of my go to challenge blogs. This week is what I thought was a masculine color challenge. Immeiadatly I thought of my favorite ice cream, mint chocolate chip. Well it's most times green.

Creative Color Combination

Nothing better than mint chocolate chip ice cream.
