Welcome back stampers. Today I'm playing along with Global Design Project's color challenge. One of the outgoing 2015 - 2017 In Colors Delightful Dijon, Silver and my choice of any other color. Hmm where would you start for deciding on what color to pair with these other two colors? What I did was pulled out my DSP stash. I looked through each of the ones that had Delightful Dijon in them and see if I could use Silver with them. Well I narrowed it down to the Moroccan DSP. Can you tell what other color I chose?
If you guessed Early Espresso, you'd be correct! I stamped the flowers in Early Espresso and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I didn't want to take the chance of smearing, bleeding or mixing colors once I began to color. So I thought the heat embossing would make it easier to color with the flowers. Do you see the shine? That's the raised embossing powder.
Global Design Project (#GDP069) is one of my go to challenge blogs. I was excited to see this week was a color challenge. And I got to chose third color to complete the challenge.
Creative Color Combination
I would generally add gold with the brown and yellow. This challenge to add the silver was perfect.
