Blogging Friends December Blog Hop

Welcome to the "Blogging Friends Blog Hop".

Who are the "Blogging Friends"? We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who have never met before. Well, actually, we still haven't met yet (in person)... But through our common bond of Stampin' Up! and a shared love of paper crafting, we have created a fun new blog hop. Please join us on the 1st of every month to see what wonderful things we have created.

Each month we'll have a different theme: this month it's Christmas/Hannukah/New Year's.

Ok so really what happened to this year? That went by so quickly! I cannot believe it's almost over!

Ok so since it's December 1, have you started:

  1. Designed and created your holiday cards?
  2. Shopped for the ingredients for all the baking you'll be doing?
  3. Got any great deals on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday or Cyber Monday?
  4. Put up holiday decorations?
  5. Wrapped gifts?

I'm asking because I'm still in the stages of designing and creating my holiday cards. I'm going to ask for your assistance to help me choose. I'll give you some background first. This year was a big project kind of year. My husband, Scott and I had the house resided (from wood clad to vinyl siding) and replaced 24 windows and currently getting a deck rebuilt. No we didn't tackle these as DIY projects. If that happened, I wouldn't have time to craft and blog to show you and that just IS NEVER EVER happening! I need my paper-crafting therapy. So with the year and the projects almost complete we wanted to commemorate this accomplishment within our holiday cards. I posted one a few weeks ago CLICK HERE to go to the blog post. Both cards have the house color which I say is close to Basic Gray with Whisper White trim.

We would like your help with choosing which of the cards you like better. Be sure to leave me your decision in the comments below. Though if you were to email me with your name and address you may just receive a holiday card in the mail! WINK WINK

So once I get my holiday cards all made, I will sit down write a personalized message in each and get them in the mail to family and friends all over the globe. Then it's on to baking the holiday cookies! Do you host or join in on any cookie swaps? I have in the past and I still have yet to find my perfect cookie to create. I try a different recipe every year. I was going to try the Italian Christmas Cookies this year. I love eating them so why not try to make them, right? Maybe because they won't make it into the swapping container. Ha Well speaking of baking, this baker is sure spreading the icing of the December Deliciousness.

At the bottom of this post, you'll see another image similar to the one above, and when you click on it, you'll be taken directly to the next blog in the hop. Keep clicking on that image at the bottom of each blog post, and you'll hop through all the participating blogs, back to where you started - and you'll see all the amazing projects and maybe inspire you too! If you'd prefer to hop about at your leisure, you can click on the individual links for each blog. Happy Hopping!

We'd love if you would leave us some comments (aka - Blog Love) to let us know what you think.
