Blogging Friends February Blog Hop

Blogging Friends February Blog Hop

Welcome to the "Blogging Friends Blog Hop".

Who are the "Blogging Friends"? We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who have never met before. Well, actually, we still haven't met yet (in person)... But through our common bond of Stampin' Up! and a shared love of paper crafting, we have created a fun new blog hop. Please join us on the 1st of every month to see what wonderful things we have created.

Each month we'll have a different theme: this month it's Love.  We are SO very excited to have a special guest join our blog hop this month!

Happy February! I'm not really sure what happened to January but it's long gone now. It's hopping day and I'm excited to see what everyone is creating with the love theme. February reminds me of love because of Valentine's Day. Don't forget it's coming up in thirteen days. I've got a cute card and treat to show you today.

I was feeling quite punny when I was thinking of what to create for this month's hop. So I decided to use the host stamp set in the Annual Catalog called Pun Intended. I knew I wanted to use the light bulb image with the I love you a watt sentiment. Laughing while I'm now coming up with the layout. I'm trying to be serious but bawahahaha I'm having just too much fun laughing over watt replacing a lot. Ok so you had to be here. You would have been laughing too. I promise. (SMILE)

To coordinated with the hysterical Valentine's card above, I wanted to created a treat holder/gift. So I'm still using the Pun Intended host stamp set. I did not want to use the bulb image again but first reviewed the sentiments to see if I could come up with some additional puns of my own. Well the sentiment bee mine was not my own but was perfect! I think the bee in the stamp set it adorable but I would have had to fussy cut it out and I just was not about to do that. I quickly looked through my craft stash to look for bees. Ah! Found some in the Shooting Stars stamp set. It's perfect too because there is framelits to cut them out! Yes! So with bees they need a hive to bring their necta to. Out came the hexagon dynamic texture embossing folder. I couldn't get a great photo to show you but each bee's wings are covered in Clear Wink of Stella® glitter brush.

In case you've never 'done' a blog hop before, its really easy! At the bottom of this post, you'll see another image similar to the one above, and when you click on it, you'll be taken directly to the next blog in the hop. Keep clicking on that image at the bottom of each blog post, and you'll hop through all the participating blogs, back to where you started - and you'll see all the amazing projects and maybe inspire you too! If you'd prefer to hop about at your leisure, you can click on the individual links for each blog. Happy Hopping!

We'd love if you would leave us some comments (aka - Blog Love) to let us know what you think.

Thanks for stopping by today.
