Welcome back crafters. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! You can say I am a wee bit excited. My new Stampin' Up! goodies arrived and I think I'll be busy in the coming days/weeks creating many different samples for you. Ya know encouraging you to want to need all the items (like I do) in the catalog.
This photo is was taken as soon as I opened the box. WOAH! Lots and lots of wonderful goodies. I cannot wait to get my hands on all those beautiful products.
This photo was taken after I went through to make sure everything that was ordered had arrived.
My mind was racing with so many ideas and I just didn't know what to create first. If you had a choice with items you see in either of these photos, what would you gravitate towards? And then what are you creating?
Are you ready to see what I chose to share first? Well the most anticipated product(s) were the Embossing Paste, the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and the Palette Knives. You may be intimadated but don't be. It's really easy to use and Stampin' Up! has a video to watch before you use it. I watched so I knew how to use the products.
Without further adieu...
Yes, I made a Christmas card. Crazy early I know but I just couldn't get the Boxwood Wreaths out of my head. I unraveled it so that I could use it as a mantel display. Do you see the mini sequin trim intertwined with it? I did that. The wreaths come in round with just the leaves.
Doesn't the brick embossing paste background look great? My husband wanted to know how I got half of brick. I said that I didn't do it on purpose but the paste didn't fill the mask in that section completely. Ya know what? I like it. Seems like it was created that way. I'll take it. Yes, I wanted to create this way. (Insert sticking out tongue emoticon).
