Let it Snow
Welcome back crafters. Black isn't a normal winter or Christmas color but when there is such gorgeous Designer Series Paper (DSP) you just need to use it. Today I focused on snowflakes or snow. I created two cards again using similar supplies.
The first card features a Pool Party glitter ribbon fork bow. They have been one of my favorites the past few weeks. Trying not to get sidetracked here but I've been making fork bows with retired ribbon to add to my retired embellishment bags. Some of you may have seen or heard about them. Ok back to this card. The black snowflake dsp was cut to look like a big banner.
I heat embossed the "Let it snow" sentiment in silver. Also punched a 1/16" circle to create a tag hanging from the bow though it is stuck to the card with dimensionals.
For my next card I figured I could step it up a bit. I still embossed the same sentiment in silver then added silver metallic thread. You'll notice the big snowflakes on the right hand side. This new product is call Swirly Snowflakes. The very detailed snowflakes were cut from the Dazzling Details glimmer paper. Basic black was used to cut the a background piece to show off the dazzling snowflakes.
Creative Color Combination
Shimmery snowflakes are soon to fall.

Unfortunately, I have to list the 2017 Holiday Catalog supplies this way until the catalog goes live.
