Smoky Rose Birthday
Welcome back friends. You are probably excited to see the solar eclipse today. As I am too but I'll be at work during the time it's suppose to happen in my local area. Maybe I will get a chance to glance out the window to see how dark it is outside. Then once I'm home I will turn the local news on to see what videos or pictures they captured for those of us that couldn't watch or see the eclipse happening. I guess I am wishful in my thinking but we shall see. If you do get a chance to watch it happening, I hope you protect your eyes with the special glasses or have made a do it yourself (DIY - I keep seeing lots of suggestions on Pinterest) contraption to view the rare astronomical event. Whatever you end up doing I hope you enjoy yourself.
Onto my project I have to share for today. I have CASE'd (Copy And Selectively Edit) from the Annual Catalog. Page 76 to be exact. If you flip to that page you'll notice the large box in the middle of the page. This was my inspiration. One of my co-worker's birthday is today. How exciting for her, right?
So the only change that I made was creating a card and not a gift box. The Happy Birthday thinlet was cut out three times and layered on top of each other.

Fanciness for your solar eclipse birthday!
