What do you see?

Welcome back crafters. While I was in the process of using the Climbing Orchid stamp set (stay tuned for another upcoming card in the near future) I had a thought of using it differently. Does this happen to you? Well actually two ideas popped into my brain but I only had an opportunity to complete one at the moment. Hopefully the other will be completed in the coming days. So I ask you first before you scroll down to see my project for today, what else do you see in this Stamp Set/Framelit Bundle? Any guesses?

I'll give you a hint. It's in the smallest pieces that I found my next project. Certainly took sometime to create but totally worth it since I've not seen anyone else make something similar yet. Alright I'll stop teasing you and will let you see what I created. You ready?

The pictures just do not give it justice. I saw the orchid buds as pussy willow pods. Pretty clever huh? I tried to also get them to be furry/fuzzy just like the real ones. I had taken my Smoky Slate card stock and bone folder and curled it on both sides (multiple times). Causing the fibers to break the bond so that I could peel apart the card stock. Have you ever tried this? It's also known as faux suede technique. Once I had my two pieces of card stock, I then stamped my two images and cut them out using the matching framelits. Spent some time doing this so that I could get enough on my branches.

I chose to have my pussy willow branches sit on a table top. I thought of making decorative marbles/stones for the branches to sit it instead of water. I took scraps from the following colors (I didn't add them in the supplies below since it was just small scrap pieces): Dapper Denim, Marina Mist, Pool Party, Soft Sky and Tranquil Tide. I also mixed in some Iridescent and Metallic sequins. So now it's a shaker card too!
