The Stamp Review Crew - Birch

The Stamp Review Crew - Birch

Welcome to The Stamp Review Crew blog hop. Glad you made it here. You may have arrived from Cindy Elam. Did you just love matching card and candle set? I need to attempt to stamp on a candle.

What is the Stamp Review Crew? We are an international group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators that get together to feature and review a current Stampin’ Up! stamp set on the first and third Monday of each month. All of our previous stamp set reviews are archived. You may visit them here.

The featured stamp set for today is Birch. This is a background stamp and creates realistic birch bark for all your paper crafting needs.

I chose to use the Birch as the intended background for a log cabin holiday card. The deer came out to look for food after the snow has fallen. I made two cards and the difference is subtle. No seriously it is. I used the subtle embossing folder on the birch background piece. I made sure the lines went in the same direction as the grain in the birch. I know it doesn’t change the card that much but it’s fun to touch the difference.
